The project seizes the whole potential of the site and reorganizes the buildings in order to achieve a lasting improvement for the development of the whole neighborhood, combining economical and residential values for a contemporary living.
The project is in line with the original intention of the garden city. The buildings are positioned along the street lines forming two big parks. The village square strengthens the perception through the concentration of building mass along the streets.
The new big central space allows free views onto mount Pilatus for all adjacent buildings.
The new residential buildings are placed in analogy to the neighborhood with a little garden in front of the house. The historical outline will be restored to mark the entrance to the neighborhood and to reinforce its identity as a whole.
